UpstArt – Upstate Art Forum – was created to support the creative arts and build an arts community in Upstate New York. Our goal is to promote contemporary art and culture by turning the spotlight onto the new, the now, the young up-and-coming visual artists, writers, musicians, and performers who don’t fit into the “Adirondack-horse racing-run of the mill” scene that has taken over upstate New York. We are here to bring the contemporary back into the art scene. NEW SHOW! COME ONE COME ALL!
Our gallery is now open again with almost twice the wall space and completely
reorganized. UpstArt will still be offering the affordable, professional framing options to artists the The Rusty Matcutter has offered for the past year, so come in for a quote any time. Our new hours are 11-6pm
Mon through Friday and 10-5pm on Saturday. Thanks to everyone that let us know they could volunteer at the gallery – we will be contacting everyone for a training day soon!
