ALL OUT: UpstArt’s Final Exhibition

I know, not cool. This is our final call for submissions for the UpstArt Contemporary Gallery. For this event we would like to extend an opportunity for you to go ALL OUT. This exhibition is an invitational, we would like every artist that’s ever been kind enough to be involved with UpstArt to show the one piece they thought would never be shown in a gallery. Give us the riskiest, most challenging, most personal, most provocative work you have. This show is the culmination of our mission, which was to provide a forum for contemporary artists of any age or standing to join a dialog with no fear of judgment or limitation.

We are holding a formal reception Saturday October 10th, 2009 at 6pm. This is also a “going away” party for all of us at UpstArt who are beginning new lives and new endeavors. We thank everyone for their support and friendship, and fantastic art. Everyone rose to the occasion in ways we never thought possible and we really can’t thank you all enough for this opportunity.

Please submit work of any medium (performance encouraged as well) to the gallery by October 1st. There is a $15 donation reception fee, but any contribution would be appreciated, including dishes or spirits for that night. Any questions at all please email upstartny@gmail.com or call 518 260 3490.
